Inspect TxPool Fees

Summarize fee fields exposed by transactions in the current txpool snapshot.

Use txpool fees to summarize the fee fields exposed by transactions currently in the pool.

Field Notes

• effective fee bid is maxFeePerGas for EIP-1559/blob transactions, or gasPrice for legacy transactions.
• max priority fee per gas is only present when the node exposes that field for the transaction type.
• max fee per blob gas is only present for blob transactions.

This command is useful before Replacement experiments because it shows the fee range already present in the pool.
