The txpool commands read a running Reth node through JSON-RPC. They currently use txpool_content and, where needed, eth_getTransactionCount. Use these commands when you want to understand why a transaction is pending, queued, missing, replaced, or competing with another transaction.

Inspect

View all pending and queued transactions.

Sender

Filter the pool to one sender and include the on-chain nonce.

Nonce Gaps

Find missing sender nonces that keep later transactions queued.

Replacement

Estimate the fee bump needed to replace a txpool transaction.

Fees

Summarize fee distributions across the current snapshot.

Duplicates

Find same-sender, same-nonce transaction conflicts.

Stats

Show counts, gas, blobs, tx types, and top senders.

Watch

Poll the pool and print added or removed transaction hashes.

Prerequisites

Start a Reth node with the txpool namespace:
Rex connects to the local execution RPC endpoint at http://127.0.0.1:8545 (localhost:8545) by default:
Use the global --rpc <URL> flag to target a different endpoint. It can appear before or after the txpool subcommand.
