# Inspect Database Tables

> Show MDBX entry and page statistics for every table in the pinned Reth schema.

Use `db tables` to find which Reth tables contain data and how many MDBX pages they occupy.

## Command

Show every registered table:

```sh theme={null}
rex db --datadir ./alice tables
```

Hide tables with zero entries:

```sh theme={null}
rex db --datadir ./alice tables --non-empty
```

## Example Output

```text theme={null}
DATABASE TABLES
MDBX path: ./alice/db
TABLE                 ENTRIES    BRANCH      LEAF  OVERFLOW         SIZE
-----------------  ----------  --------  --------  --------  -----------
AccountChangeSets          20         0         1         0     16.0 KiB
AccountsHistory            20         0         1         0     16.0 KiB
AccountsTrie                1         0         1         0     16.0 KiB
PlainAccountState          20         0         1         0     16.0 KiB
Tables shown:    10 of 30
Total entries:   102
Table pages:     160.0 KiB
Freelist:       3 pages (48.0 KiB)
```

The sample is shortened; the command prints every matching table.

## Columns

| Column | Meaning |
| - | - |
| Entries | Key/value records reported by MDBX for the table |
| Branch | B-tree branch pages |
| Leaf | B-tree leaf pages |
| Overflow | Pages used for values too large to fit inline |
| Size | Page size multiplied by branch, leaf, and overflow page counts |

`--non-empty` filters the displayed rows only. The totals at the bottom still describe the complete database snapshot, so results remain comparable between filtered and unfiltered runs.

Some historical tables can be empty because Reth stores append-only history in `static_files/`. Use [Database Info](/docs/db/info) to see both storage areas together.
